McGaffic Advertising can write, design and place your next print ad. We’ll brainstorm with you to establish both image and project goals before coming up with a cost-effective marketing strategy and budget.

Kasing Print AdWe’ve designed thousands of effective ads that have been placed in local weeklies and national publications from Pittsburgh to Florida. McGaffic Advertising will help you negotiate the best rates available. And we’ll take care of the creative end to save you money.

McGaffic can prepare full-color multi-page inserts for local newspapers and specialty publications. What’s more, we’ll tie in your print ads with your billboards, direct mail and radio/TV spots for even greater exposure.

Through years of experience, we’re familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of print ads in the electronic market. We’d be happy to share this information with you.

A strong, compelling headline is the key to grabbing readers’ attention. Key words include: Introducing, Announcing, Now and New.

In addition, include a subhead, along with the body copy, a special offer or a color photo or graphic of the product in the layout. Photos are more effective than drawings.

Strive for a coherent message and easy-to-read text. Provide an incentive, such as a discount, promotion or coupon. Mention the expiration date if there is one. Another option is to identify a problem the customer has and offer a solution.

Adding color to an ad is a great way to increase readership. If you use spot color, make it tell a story. Don’t leave this task up to the newspaper or magazine.

Be sure to add your business name, address, phone/fax numbers, hours, website, credit cards (if accepted) and free parking (if available). If you have a slogan, tag line or positioning statement, incorporate it into the ad.

Tip: Use upper- and lowercase letters, as all caps are hard to read.

Repetition, Repetition, Repetition. Don’t make the mistake of placing an ad one time to see if it works. Repetition is needed to build results. An ad needs to be seen at least three times before it has impact.
